Category 5 K9 works with shelters, rescues, and owners identify dogs that have potential to become search dogs and find them jobs they love.

Search Team

Category 5 K9 Search Team is available to to Texas Emergency Management, Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement agencies to assist in the location of missing person or remains.

Texas Task Force K9s

Category 5 K9 is the official nonprofit that supports the current and retired canines of Texas A&M Task Force 1 and Texas Task Force 2.

SAR K9 Resources

Category 5 K9 produces training materials for the canine search and rescue community.

Who is Cat5k9

Category 5 K9 was founded in 2019 by three canine handlers from Texas A&M Task Force 1 with the vision to help rescue dogs and support their teammates volunteer outside of team deployments.
