Retired Dogs in the Spotlight

This month we partnered with Texas Task Force Foundation and Maroon Out to raise funds for the retired canines of Texas A&M Task Force 1. Maroon Out is donating part of their proceeds from apparel sales to support the retired canines!

Retired K9 Gunny, K9 Artimys, and K9 YYork were out on the field with Maroon Out for Midnight Yell last Friday. Then Saturday morning K9s Gunny, Taser, Maui, and YYork spent some time at the Maroon Out Tailgate meeting many new people before the Texas A&M University vs UMass football game.

Foster Pupdates!

Our longest staying resident, Moe, was officially adopted! This handsome boy moved all the way to Wisconsin to live with his amazing new family. We could not be happier to see him living the spoiled dog life.

Welcome Java to our Shelter to Search program. Java’s owners reached out to Category 5 K9 when they realized he would thrive with a job. He is currently learning foundational skills and then we will be working on identifying the job he shows the most potential for.

K9 Kimber and K9 Taz were deployed to Lamar County, TX. They helped search for victims after the recent tornados.
