Williams Grant

Exciting news! We received a $10,000 grant from Williams to support the canines on Category 5 K9 and Texas A&M Task Force 1! This money will be going toward custom canine field medical kits that each handler will be able to carry with them during searches and deployments.

Last month TX-TF handlers and medical specialists got a refresher on canine physicals and bandaging. Now thanks to Williams’ support each handler will always have the materials on hand in case of emergency.

Meet Zeke! He joined us all the way from Los Angeles, CA. Our friends at the National Disaster Search Dog foundation helped us pull and house him until transport was possible to get him to Texas. He’s working on his overall fitness before he starts his evaluation.
